Our St. Johnās Wort Oil is prepared from small batches of fresh (never dried) flowering tops ofĀ Hypericum perforatumĀ plants.Ā Each summer near the solstice, the plants are responsibly wildcrafted in Oregonās Siskiyou and Cascade mountains in a narrow time frame before the flowers have fully opened, then extracted while still fresh.
To ensure optimal extraction of St. Johnās Wortās rich red pigments, the uppermost tops of the plants are hand-harvested, then extracted while still fresh and succulent into cold pressed Certified Organic olive oil.
